I work in the reportage world for different INGOs on social and cultural projects as well as for national and international magazines worldwide. I'm mostly proud when the result of a photography assignment can raise awareness on social issues or when a photograph can be used for fundraising social and development projects. Using my cameras in this way give a new meaning to photography: it gives me the chance to help less fortunate people in a different way.
I work on landscapes as personal projects that I try to promote and sell through art galleries or foundations worldwide. In my mind, taking a photograph of a landscape it is not just waiting for the right light to come but it is a way to get connected to this planet. It is my way to feel I belong here.
My personal projects focused on movement explore different ways to describe the emotions and the energy released during a dance performance. They run away from the static shot of a dancer. They don't aim at a frozen moment. They try to go beyond.
All of my work on flowers and macro is the result of my continuous collaboration with Orticolario as official photographer for their yearly international fair on artistic and avant gardening.
At present, all of my work in portraiture is commissioned by Orticolario for advertising their international artistic gardening fair in Villa Erba, Como. All portraits focus on the strong relationship between mankind and nature, on the strong bond we have with mother nature.
